Owen Opens Rural Finance Office

Rural Finance Office Opening

On Saturday 22nd March, The Rt Hon Owen Paterson MP and Secretary of State for the Environment and

Rural Affairs formerly opened Rural’s new office premises at Wilkinson court on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.

 

Over 70 people turned up to see Mr Paterson unveil an engraved Welsh slate plaque. On a guided tour of the office Mr Paterson met employees, brokers and funders and discussed product, developments and concerns with regards to funding within the rural community

He also presented a cheque for £500 to Linda Jones of R.A.B.I (Rural’s chosen charity) an organisation to help care and support for farmers, farm workers and their dependants who may be struggling in some way.

“This is a landmark for Rural in its 10th year of trading and reflects our commitment to supporting the rural community and the varied business’s contained in the sector” said Rex Tattersall Managing Director of Rural Finance he also added that” the new offices would allow for Rural’s planned expansion  which  in turn will create several new jobs in the future”

The directors of Rural Finance would like to thank all those who attended on the day.

The day was rounded of with a buffet lunch and a raffle for Sports relief which raised over £80
